The Spanish streaming platform, Footters, has closed its third round of investment since 2017 and reaches a new valuation of 8.5 million euros. Among the investors of the platform are business angels of startups, active international footballers or private investors. In this last round have joined Fernando García de Abásolo, former economic vice president of Atlético de Madrid, who also enters as a counselor, and Evaristo Cobos, CEO of ATM Broadcast.

Footters has added Eulalia Martínez as Legal Advisor to her team. Martínez, general director of Grupo Zeta Audiovisual, has more than 20 years of experience in the contracting and distribution of audiovisual content, and an extensive career in football audiovisual rights negotiation after passing through the legal departments of FORTA.

Evaristo Cobos, in addition to joining the project as an investor, accesses the executive board of Footters as VP of Audiovisual Rights & Production, which is also incorporated as CMO Julio Muñoz Gijón, former deputy director of digital communication at the RFEF. Cobos, with more than 25 years of experience in audiovisual coverage, has been in charge of the organization of national and international parties.

Footters is the platform that broadcasts Segunda B and Tercera matches in Spain, but also those of the Premier League in Mexico, and has recently reached an agreement in Argentina to also issue the Reserve Tournament.

Success story of IBM, with partnership agreements with actors such as Besoccer, Pixellot, or the company of Artificial Intelligence, Narrative, Footters has broadcast more than 1,500 games this season, exceeds 100,000 registered users and is already preparing a round of financing Series A for the last quarter of 2019.
